This course will be presented by Rachael Musgrave-Evans LS.
The training courses being offered by our office are primarily designed to provide surveying graduates with some training and support towards becoming registered as a Licensed Surveyor (graduates do not need to be in a formal Professional Training Agreement to be eligible to apply). These courses can also assist Supervising Surveyors with the training of candidates and also provide additional guidance to recently Licensed Surveyors.

This one-day course will cover the cadastral law as well as the re-establishment principles behind:

•Crown boundary re-establishment and the Property Law Act 1958
•The monuments based system and survey differences
•Government Road Alignments
•Sources of survey information
•Parish Plans – CPO and LTO/Titles Office Charts
•Reading and interpreting old survey information
•Preparation of Worksheets
•Worked example – re-establishment of Government Roads and Crown boundaries
•River Boundaries

Driving: Approximately 1hr 30mins from Melbourne along Calder Highway. Plenty of parking available in Castlemaine.
Train: Catch a V-line Train on the Bendigo Line from Southern Cross Station and get off at Castlemaine. The venue is a short walk from the station.
The train trip takes approximately 1hr 30mins and costs $11.00 for the day.
